A Familiar sight in East Gippsland over the past 40 years, Cranes Civil & Surfacing is locally owned and operated business
Led by Dennis, Pat and Michael Crane, the family owned and run business offers a range of services across the region ranging from, full civil construction, asphalting, bitumen sealing and the latest development in line-marking.
Our head office is located in at 90 McMillan Street Bairnsdale; Cranes also has satellite depots in Orbost, Omeo and Cann River.
Cranes employs a local workforce using both permanent and casual staff, while also subcontracting local qualified and Cranes approved contractors. The Cranes approved contractors system ensures efficient service and quality workmanship for all works completed by Cranes Civil & Surfacing.
Cranes Civil & Surfacing is nationally pre-qualified with Vic Roads and holder of a Memorandum of Authorisation (MOA) for changing of speed limits and traffic management. Cranes is also system certified by the Civil Contractors Federation, to conform to the integrated management system, which incorporates quality assurance, occupational health and safety and environmental systems. Cranes is also a member of the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association.
Specialising in a wide range of work from full construction of subdivisions, car parks, driveway construction, sporting court surfaces, school yards, asphalting, asphalt driveway paving, tennis court surfacing including plexipave and synthetic surfaces. Also a wide range of hot bitumen seals, ranging from primes, primer seals, reseals and cold seals like emulsion seals. All Cranes work is completed while minimizing effects on the surrounding environment. Using local aggregates sourced from local suppliers Cranes Civil & Surfacing ethos is to use local East Gippsland suppliers wherever possible. To support the local community that supports Cranes.
Cranes is excited to announce we can now offer our line-marking services to the East Gippsland community, ranging from parking spaces, intersection markings, line reinstatement and stenciling for industrial factories.
We are also happy to announce the arrival of our new Wirtgen Profiler, which will be out and about deep lift asphalt patching and road stabilising around East Gippsland. This brand new machine will also be avalible for hire to complete a wide range of milling services.
