This year marks a milestone we are quietly proud of: 50 years of Cranes Civil & Surfacing working across East Gippsland and southern New South Wales. What began as a small local surfacing operation has grown into a family-owned civil and road-surfacing business employing local people and backing local groups right across the region.
Over five decades our crews have laid asphalt, sprayed seals, built pavements and shaped sporting precincts from Bairnsdale to Omeo, Orbost and Cann River. The work changes with the times, bigger plant, tighter specifications, more recycled material, but the job is still the same one it was in 1975: connecting communities with surfaces that last.
To everyone who has worked here, partnered with us or trusted us with a project, thank you. We are marking the anniversary the way we know best, by getting on with the next 50 years of work.
